Click or Clicks?

We all ask ourselves how did something unknown because known worldwide? How did something that was used by ten people became used worldwide having hundreds of friends? We all know Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and of course Google. How did Google become so big when before it was name Bankrupt? It’s just weird imagining saying go Bankrupt it instead of Goggle it. We’re all so used to using the big model technology that we haven’t even thought how it became big. Isn’t it amazing that Google owns about 65% of the internet research? Anyhow, it’s fascinating just thinking about it. I wonder how it’s going to be later on when new technology arrives but even if it is, Google will continue to strike to the top until then.

E-Waste

E-Waste, one of the most shocking things to see from the world. From computers, to cell phones, to televisions, they contain dangerous chemicals. We always want to have the latest technology, but we never think about the technology we have now, we don’t get rid of it in a proper way, that others have to pay for it. It’s unfair for other people across the world, to be in charge of getting rid of our e-waste, even if they contain dangerous chemical that could harm them. Some facts about e-waste are people can get diseases from e-waste. Another one is E-waste is sent to domestic recyclers is shunted overseas. Can you imagine e-waste floating over the seas? Terrible for the environment around us.

Books

I think Google should do what they’re doing. It’s better if they charge because it would benefit the authors and also it would save trees at the same time. It would be awesome if they wouldn’t charge but it wouldn’t be fair for the authors; however we could have access to books online and be able to have more resources rather than just looking for it in a library. Even if Google are already copying the books to put it online they should have the authors permission first and then to be able to make the decision if we would have to pay to be able to have access to the books online. It would also be nice if they can have exceptions for schools to have complete access to them without charge even if colleges gave the students passes that have codes that are only available to students only but every year they would change the code for security reasons.

World Wide Web

The web has created a big impact since when it was created. For example we use it for communication, our own research resources, business tools, to even our own anywhere place to even shop. The web has been part of everyone’s life, or a daily tool. I couldn’t imagine if it didn’t exist, we would probably be using our books instead of the World Wide Web for any types of research. Especially for us students, imagine how college kids would have been without the World Wide Web? We are advancing by day just because of it. However we are so used to having a tool we can always use and have information in seconds, right in our hands, that we don’t really function the way we should be able to be more knowledge because of it on our own without any tool.

Introduction

Hello there, welcome to my blog, I would like to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Alejandra Morales, I'm a junior attending Connally High School. I have have four sibilings, all of them are older than me, I'm the youngest one from my family. I'm going to admit I'm a spoiled teenager but that does not make a selfish person. In Connally High School I'm a member of Color guard, it's fun at most times. Color guard requires effort, I give all my effort I can to become a better performer by day. It's fun for me to spin things, such as flags, rifle and saber. They're difficult at first but it gets easier along the way. I'm not an expert on it but I give it all my best to become closer to it to inspire the future members of the guard, just like the way I was inspired. Now another part about me that I would like to share is I enjoy listening to music, but hey, who doesn't? My favorite music are most of all the categories that are included in rock music. I dislike rap and country music, other than that, I'm pleased with it. Thank you for your time to read my introduction.
